As a teacher I try not to just impart information and skills, but also enthusiasm for the subject. It is my duty to tend to my students' needs whenever needed.
In addition, I try to create a comfortable learning environment based on respect instead of fear. By achieving this I try to build a strong rapport with my students so that all of us can learn in a conducive and fun environment. For me, learning is a two way street, they not only learn from me but I also learn from them. This way I find that the teaching and learning environment becomes an equal participation. It is essential that we create an environment that not only enables that, but also fosters it. In such an environment, we all are winners: teachers, students, parents, community and the country at large that will inherit, erudite citizens for tomorrow's world!
